Amirantes Group
Approximately 155 miles south of Mahé, the coral Outer Islands begin. One of the larger groups is the Amirantes, which consists of Desroches, African Banks, Rémire, D'Arros, St. Joseph, Poivre, Étoile, Boudeuse, Marie Louise, and Desnoeufs
Africa Banks
The African Banks are the uninhabited northernmost islands of the Amirante group of the Outer Islands of Seychelles.
Poivre
Poivre is an atoll in the Amirantes group of islands and is surrounded by flats of coral, hard sandy bottoms and turtle grass.
Desroche
Remote and unspoiled Desroches Island, lying in the shade of a plantation of coconut palms and surrounded by 14 kilometres of breathtaking beaches, is situated 250 kilometres from Mahé. Its surrounding islands are renowned for spectacular big game fishing adventures.
Coëtivy
Coëtivy Island is a small coral island in the Seychelles 180 mi south of Mahé.
Along with Île Platte, the nearest neighbor 106 mi northwest, it comprises the Southern Coral Group and therefore belongs to the Outer Islands.
